Single Ply Mebrane

How it Works

Single Ply from Conklin is a TPO roofing system. TPO means Thermoplastic Olefin. Single-Ply seams are melted together using heat thereby creating one solid, leak-proof layer. Conklin’s  Single-ply can be utilized on new roofs or on re-roof projects. There are two ways to fasten single-ply membrane. Mechanically fastened, and Chemically bonded. The mechanical method uses fasteners such as screws with large washers to attach the Single Ply to the roof surface. These screws are covered and are NOT exposed. The chemical method utilizes adhesive between the roof and the Single Ply. This adhesive allows for even consistent bonding making the roof very wind-resistant.
Single Ply is a roofing option that is used widely and costs less per square foot then some other options. Call Preferred Roofing for a quote on a Single-Ply roofing system.
